Recorded
on a beautiful September day in Ohio, LIVE (What'a YOU Lookin' At?) captures
the excitement of a Minstrels of Mayhem show complete with audience
reaction. Joining Ty and Jerry are Craig Merlin Broers on Bass, Jim
Hancock on Mandolin and Marsha Harvey on Violin, with Bill Sellers mastering
the helm for recording. Featuring ten original songs, this release has
a little bit of every style with the memorable Mayhem twist. If you
want to have a good laugh, a good cry and hear some great music, this
one is for you. This release is available on both CD and tape. The CD
has a bonus song with a strong language warning. |
Adventures in Storyville |

As the
title suggests, this release allows everyone to take a trip through
the mind of the child. Praise for this album comes from college students
and teachers, families and seniors. Adventures in Storyville is a collection
of songs that any age can enjoy. Featuring nine original tunes, each
song has its own flair and style. Using Folk, Blues, Rock, Reggae, and
Country styles to name a few, the Minstrels of Mayhem tell unusual stories
of amazing events with individual color and clarity. Followers will
recognize such favorites as The Rattlin' Bog, Boogie Man, and the
Ballad of Capt'n Hook. A must-have for all ages. |
The Minstrels of Mayhem NOW |
|
![]() |
When the
opportunity arose to expand the group, a new recording was in order.
This is how the release of NOW came about. Since fellow musician Craig
Merlin Broers played on many of the recordings, The Minstrels of Mayhem
decided that 50% more minstrel was better. The superb harmonies and
beautiful arrangements on this release will touch your heart and make
you smile, or make you sing along. From the rousing Johnny Jump Up to
the tribute song for Malcom Smith, each song launches you to a new level
of listening enjoyment.

The Minstrels of Mayhem THEN |
|
![]() |
Step back
with the Minstrels of Mayhem to a time of the duet singing originals,
rounds, and period music with plenty of heart as this release captures
the quality of the early years. THEN is the overdue compilation of the
first two recordings, A Brisk Walk (out of print) and From the Cuckoo's
Nest onto one CD. Enjoy all of the songs and harmonies that make the
Minstrels of Mayhem a part of the family. |
Rocky Road |
|
![]() |
This
release overflows with Mayhem style. This CD debuts 9 original tunes
featuring that gutsy style the Minstrels of Mayhem are known for. From
the creative re-arrangements of the traditional favorites (Star of the
County Down, Raggle Taggle Gypsy) to songs that will stroke your heart
(Eye of the Dove, Let Go of My Heart), humorous songs (Hot Whiskey),
and songs that rock your soul (the Banshee), you will enjoy Rocky Road.
This release also features 2 songs recorded live in concert. Rocky Road
will take you to places you want to go, and it will leave you feeling
good. Don't miss this journey. |
Blind Man's Bluff |
|
![]() |
Blind Man's
Bluff has Ty, Jerry, Brad, and Jimi joined with special guests and old friends
Thomas Nuendel, Craig Broers, Maia Rodriguez, Gabrielle Decker and more. It features
songs that many have been insisting to be on a release, besides new ballads, shanties,
and old traditionals that have been revamped. It has a wonderful mix of music with that
infamous Mayhem twist that will make you glad you added Blind Man's Bluff to your collection. |
Songs From The Tinshack - Jerry Barry |
|
![]() |
This release by
Jerry Barry has been 5 years in the making. With great musician friends joining him in this quest
for an individual voice, Songs From the Tinshack gathers together some of Jerry's most personal
songs of reflection and hope, as well as some straight-forward fun. This recording incorporates
many styles of music including Rock, Pop and Folk music as well as some original musical experimentation.
The focus, however, is on the songwriting. Fans of good songwriting will enjoy Jerry's clever
word play and unique melodic sense. Guests include Ty Billings, Thomas Nuendel, Jim Hancock
and many other fine musicians who lend this material a unique clarity and passion that
these songs so rightly deserve. |
